Vanuatu releases its Vital Statistics report 2012–2014
Vanuatu’s civil registration and vital statistics report presents the status of the civil registration and health information system of Vanuatu in regard to recording the occurrence and characteristics of live births, deaths and causes of death in the country. This report corresponds to commitments made by the Government of Vanuatu towards universal registration of births and deaths, legal identification, and production of vital statistics from registration records. The report is the first of its kind to provide vital statistics from Vanuatu’s administrative datasets.
