Pacific Data Library

The Pacific Data Catalog is a central repository for Pacific Countries and Territories statistical reports and documents.

Through PRISM we have published the National Data Archive since 2010, with several collaborative initiatives such as sub-regional and national workshops, with training in metadata documentation, and web publishing.

Metadata sub-regional workshop, Noumea 2016
World Bank NADA training, Washington DC 2010
Metadata sub-regional workshop, Noumea 2010
Metadata sub-regional workshop, Nadi 2012
Intermittent national remote and in-country training
Intermittent website upgrades and technical support

We have focused primarily on the dissemination of Household Survey metadata (Census, HIES, DHS as well as MICS and the Hybrid Survey) with variable descriptions and counts. The Pacific Data Archive and the IHSN Archive together publish over 70 unique surveys for the Pacific.
