Preceding the 6th Regional Conference of Heads of Planning and Statistics (HOPS 6), the 12th Pacific Statistics Methods Board (PSMB) meeting, hosted by the Pacific Community (SPC), will be held on Monday 2nd October 2023, in Noumea, New Caledonia.
The PSMB was established to provide oversight and guidance on the statistical methods, systems and procedures used by Pacific Island Countries and Territories, to ensure they are in line with international best practises, while at the same time relevant to our region's unique situation. The 12th Meeting of the PSMB will focus on new methodological guidelines prepared within the PACSTAT Project, and other methodological innovations.
