Tuvalu GIS training - Peer to Peer FBOS - TCSD

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in census and survey projects. It covers essential GIS tools and techniques for mapping, data collection and spatial analysis. The workshop will provide practical skills on the use of open source GIS tool QGIS to manage geospatial data and improve the efficiency of census and survey operations. The training will be conducted by Fiu Penjueli, Assistant Statistician Vital/Demography/GIS at FBOS as a peer-to-peer capacity building activity that fosters knowledge exchange among countries facing similar challenges, promoting locally relevant solutions strengthening technical cooperation in the Pacific Region.
