​Objectives

Familiarize participants with the ICCS, its primary applications, benefits, and challenges in implementation. Provide practical guidance on the methodology of CVS, covering all stages from design to implementation, to enable participants to produce high-quality, internationally comparable crime data.

Deliverable Outcomes

  • Clear understanding on the need for and steps to implement the ICCS and CVS.

  • Awareness on the need for standardized methodologies to collect, analyse and disseminate crime data.

  • Deep knowledge of available UNODC tools for the enhancement of national and international crime data collection.

  • Building of a Pacific group for experience sharing.

  • Presentation of ICCS manual.
