​Workshop objectives
- Provide training to physicians on medical certification of cause of death in accordance with International Classification of Diseases (ICD) standards and best practice
- To conduct an in-person team training sessions, covering process steps and technical training on RCS
- To build connections with key stakeholders and to gain an understanding of the focus areas within the CRVS space where the Pacific Community (SPC) can provide guidance and support
- To develop a CRVS action plan which will identify gaps/roadblocks
- Providing support on ICD-10 mortality coding in the Health Information Unit
