Update from Thursday, August 30, 2018

The redevelopment process has been very rigorous with several in-house workshops and numerous brainstorming and “mock-up” sessions. Below is an example of a proposed “Population Stats” page being mocked-up:

User journeys have also been explored and mapped to a range of proposed new structures. Below is an example where a data scientist, who is new to the SDD website goes looking for as much information as she can find about health in Tonga. She goes to the Tonga page and sees the HIES report. She downloads this, skims the report and decides to keep looking. She sees the key statistics area and notices life expectancy. While this isn’t what she was looking for there’s a link beside the table to the full database in .Stat. She then goes to .Stat and downloads the full data set. She remembers the name of the tool and bookmarks it in her browser so she can get directly there next time.
