The Population poster includes the most recent census-based demographic statistics and indicators for twenty one Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
This poster provides updated population pyramids for all Pacific Island Countries and Territories, showing the age-sex profiles now and in the future. These distributions help countries to plan for service and infrastructure delivery.
Key demographic indicators, such as fertility, mortality and rates of growth in urban areas are also provided, allowing comparisons to be made across the region.
