The Samoa Bureau of Statistics in partnership with the Pacific Community (SPC) launched its 3rd Poverty and hardship report on the 23rd of February 2023.
Tonga's fourth Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) undertaken by Tonga Statistics Department (TSD). The previous HIES took place in 2001, 2009 and 2015.
“Finding so much data on this small island country accessible in a single place and so well documented has been an unexpected treasure”, said political economy professor, William Mishler.
Kiribati undertook their third HIES between 2019 and 2020. The main objectives of the survey were to assess the socioeconomic situation of i-Kiribati people and households and to provide data for use in forming economic and social policy.

The CRVS profiles consolidate knowledge shared by countries on the status of their CRVS systems in the recent past, including through government websites, published reports, media releases and presentations, and direct engagement between the authors of these profiles and in-country civil registration offices and health information offices.
