About Benuel
Benuel Lenge joined SPC in 2024. His career started at the Vanuatu Ministry of Education, Policy and Planning where he was responsible for school GIS mapping and the school census. He then joined the National Statistics Office where he was responsible for managing national censuses and household surveys before becoming the Chief Statistician. He also held the post of Registrar General for civil registration and vital statistics. With his experience and interests, he’s also served as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) manager at the Vanuatu Skills Partnership.
How I support stakeholders
- Providing technical support on census and survey processes in line with the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM), from design to dissemination
- Contributing to innovative experiments involving data collection processes and methodologies to meet Pacific Island data needs.
