About Luis
Luis de la Rua first joined SPC in 2014 and has worked as a consultant on geographic information systems (GIS) since 2021. He previously worked as coordinator and spatial analyst for rural development projects in Morocco, Cambodia and Central America.
How I support stakeholders
- Supporting national statistics offices in the Pacific with all their census and surveys GIS-related activities
- Helping to better disseminate statistical data through mapping tools and geospatial analysis to make statistical data more relevant and useful to all type of users
- Providing capacity building in GIS.
