About Olivier
Olivier Menaouer joined SPC in 2016 and has worked in different areas across the statistics domain. He first worked as a consultant in education statistics then on the compilation of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) before joining SPC on a permanent basis. Since 2020, he’s worked to develop, maintain and manage the Pacific Data Hub’s Microdata Library, and curate, document and anonymise census and survey microdata. He also assists in processing survey data as well as on data analysis.
How I support stakeholders
- Contributing to survey questionnaire design for household income and expenditure surveys (HIES)
- Processing survey microdata after fieldwork and detecting/fixing outliers
- Generating the ‘final’ version of microdata and curating everything on our secure SDD server
- Collaborating with Pacific national statistics offices to arrange the dissemination of their microdata on the Pacific Data Hub’s Microdata Library based on their preferences as well as liaising with them to seek approval/denial for each microdata access request received
- Drafting analytical reports and other analytical products such as factsheets or tables.
