About Rara
Rara Soro assists in maintaining and making sure the Pacific Data Hub is populated with quality data consumable by regional and international statistical users. He previously worked with the Vanuatu Bureau of Statistics as the manager responsible for statistical dissemination. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computing science and information systems.
How I support stakeholders
- Preparing and reformatting data in SDMX format for hosting in the Pacific Data Hub
- Harvesting data from other international websites and populating the Pacific Data Hub
- Testing and making sure new upgrades of the Pacific Data Hub are working correctly
- Mentoring regional statistical officers in statistical process modernisation.
